http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?viewThread=y&gID=1&fID=3&tID=116831 - It's now looking more and more like Intersport Racing will move to LMP1 and run a Creation CA06-H. With the HUGE influx of Porsches and Acuras in LMP2, they'll be lucky to get podiums in LMP2. In LMP1, they may not be able to beat Audi, but they'll be competitive and they'll be on the podium basically every race. What happens with their Lola is uncertain (Intersport has run 2 cars in multiple classes before).
- Creation still plans to run its own CA06-H at Sebring/PLM/LS and will do the full season if funding is found.
- Peterson/White Lightning has now purchased 2 Ferrari F430 GTs, and originally it was thought the 2nd one would be an entry for Krohn racing at Sebring/Le Mans/PLM, but now it appears Krohn is not involved and P/WL will campaign both cars for the full season.
- A deal between Ferrari and an American team (Likely J3 Racing) has fallen through. They hoped to have a F430 GT in time for Sebring
- A source reported seeing a "very interesting Mercedes car" at Sebring last week. Could this be the long rumored Pastorini/Renntech SLK55 GTR for the GT2 class??
- Van Der Steur announced it will run 10 out of the 12 rounds in this years calendar in their LMP2 Radical AER. It's not clear which 2 they'll be skipping though.
- A source claims that testing at Paul Ricard on February 9/10 will clear up some questions about Aston Martin and GT1 in the ALMS
- Dyson Racing announces Andy Lally as a 3rd driver at Sebring in one of their LMP2 Porsche RS Spyders and says they will not go to Le Mans this year, but maybe in 2008. #$%# Grand Am! Stop the Nascarization of road racing!
