As a matter of fact I'm seriously rethinking a couple of things concerning URF. Adding a forum is somewher on that list.

Yeah, we are always lacking on active members.  It always seems to pick up a lot right before the race and die down around the 1st of April.

I do also own almsfans.com..... MMaybe I should divide up the forum to sections anc focus on each race.... sound lieka good idea?

It would take some work to get it going, but it sounds more logical than having a forum for just one race. But wouldn't that end up like a copy of the official ALMS forum?

You've only got to spend 5 minutes on sebringfans.com to realize that, while many of them may be knowledgeable fans, this race is mostly a drinking binge with some noisy cars in the background.
The focus (on that site) on alcohol consumption is really kind of depressing. I'm kind of amazed (and disappointed) that track management doesn't do anything to try and go a bit more upmarket.
If I wanted to hang with drunken louts I'd go to a British premier league game.

Our very own Club Arnage Forum by rights, caters for the Le Mans 24 Hours.  However, in reality, the forum stays pretty active throughout the year, with topics, posts and comments extending to motorsport in general and well beyond to all manner of weird and wonderfull stuff.

As Pieter will concur, the DfH forum follows a similar road, albeit in Freaky Deeky Dutch  cheesy
