One of the bigger idiots here!

DK told my brother that the new Motor Trend mag has an article about Sebring with a photo of the Pit Crew Disco Bus.  I guess he's a subscriber because the June issue was still on the shelf at the store I checked this morning.  Keep an eye out.

You've only got to spend 5 minutes on sebringfans.com to realize that, while many of them may be knowledgeable fans, this race is mostly a drinking binge with some noisy cars in the background.
The focus (on that site) on alcohol consumption is really kind of depressing. I'm kind of amazed (and disappointed) that track management doesn't do anything to try and go a bit more upmarket.
If I wanted to hang with drunken louts I'd go to a British premier league game.

There's a story about the race and a sidebar about the party:

I wonder if the author researched the story on SebringFans.com?

This monday, my American friends from Turn 10 wil join me to Le Mans. I know we will have a fabulous time and we really made an effort to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, but nothing comes close to Sebring. Reading this article and others, seeing the movies on internet, seeing my own pictures...man, there's no place I'd rather be than Sebring.

Given the subject, and the type of magazine ... that was actually quite tastefully done!  Great article, thanks for sharing Kings Suck!

Cheers,
Scott
