The board is slowing down a little...I need a Sebring fix.

Our group is getting together over the next few weekends to build some stuff. Also gonna go hit the thrift stores soon to see if we can find some "Sebring worthy" stuff.

I'm right in the middle of it as well. I've just heard that the 2006 edition of the Drinking for Holland outfit will just be ready to take with me to Sebring!

Maybe we need to have a SF.com pre-race party?

Almost time to print out my "Sebring list" I keep on my computer. Its a list of everything from toilet paper to camera to food and beer and can openers............Can't afford to be away from home and forget all the goodies.........

Put in for my vacation days and got it approved. I fear if it was not approved I would take the time off anyway. Hey, if I lost my job I could always get another but miss a year at Sebring, NO WAY!!!!!

you have to look at it the right way...February is almost over...so you can't count that...besides, it's such a short month anyway.  And March is going to be busy with all the Sebring prep...Soooo....it's just a few days away.  God...it can't get here soon enough.

Rubonia Mardi Gras Sunday Feb 26.  11am to 8pm, parade at 3.  La Bamba is usually decorated as a Mardi Gras float and is in the parade.

Rubonia is just across the Skyway.

You've only got to spend 5 minutes on sebringfans.com to realize that, while many of them may be knowledgeable fans, this race is mostly a drinking binge with some noisy cars in the background.
The focus (on that site) on alcohol consumption is really kind of depressing. I'm kind of amazed (and disappointed) that track management doesn't do anything to try and go a bit more upmarket.
If I wanted to hang with drunken louts I'd go to a British premier league game.

Got my usual spot over on Bishop Bend (y'all come).
Dunno about the rest of my crew but I'll be there.
Will stumble by.

Hey ScienceTom...was wondering if you were going to make it this year.  Make sure you stop at Turn 10 and enjoy our view and a brew or two.  Sebring is right around the corner.
