Have you ever been humiliated?

« on: January 24, 2006, 02:54:45 am »

Two questions. How do I add pics to my post? I think they have to be on the web somewhere, is that correct. Second, how can I get some space in the photo gallery? Thanks

Yes the pictures have to be posted somewhere. I have free posting on one of the other forums I use. I have seen others use some of the free web photohosting sites. I suspect you could attach from this Forums photo gallery.
On my other forum, you open the picture, right click on it and select properties. This brings up the url. Copy it, and start your topic or reply.
Select the Img button on the message body screen, paste the url, then select the Img button again. I always hit the close tags button, but don't know if it is really necessary.
I'm sure one of the moderators can do a better job than I did, but it is a start.

Yes that is how you do it.

I manually type (without the spaces) [ i m g ] paste the url here [ / i m g ]

Right now I am not adding anyone to the gallery. It seems it has a little bit of a problem. If you upload a 2mb photo, the gallery will resize the photo for you to an appropriate size, but it keeps the original. That is the reason SF.com grew to 110gb. I am currently working on SF.com 2.0, as I will call it. I till unveil it after this year's race and I hope to have that bug fixed.
