We especially need photos of ALL cars finishing in the top ten 1973-77, plus a few from 1982 and 83.

If you have any of these photos in excellent shape. Please post here what you have.

We would either like to have you mail us a copy, or the original(s) we will return them (if needed) after scanning them.

Now that you've narrowed down the years, I've got nothing good.  From '80 to '83 I was shooting b&w and processing prints in my kitchen sink.  It was a major pain in the ass; I probably only printed about 5% of the shots I took.

Here's a few I did find from 1982.  The hemp-powered winner:

You've only got to spend 5 minutes on sebringfans.com to realize that, while many of them may be knowledgeable fans, this race is mostly a drinking binge with some noisy cars in the background.
The focus (on that site) on alcohol consumption is really kind of depressing. I'm kind of amazed (and disappointed) that track management doesn't do anything to try and go a bit more upmarket.
If I wanted to hang with drunken louts I'd go to a British premier league game.

I also found a shot of some guy strolling down the middle of the road in broad daylight, beer in hand, pissing away.  I'll spare you that one.

I have some vintage photos that I can email.  Most are in the 1 to 2 MB range and most are black and white.

Who do I contact?  Also, what provision are to be made for photo credit, etc, etc.?

Also, there is a site out there called Racing Sports Cars.  It was created by a nice fellow in eastern Europe who lists just about every Sebring race ever run with photos of most of the cars.

All his photos have the name of the photographer and you can the photographer without much hassle.

Get back to me when you can.
