Look for the SF.com jello wrestling contest we still need more contestants!I am sure they will not allow the huge bonfires again. They always allowed small ones, but add a couch and it is a hazard to everyone. Plus some people are just too stupid.

I seem to think that I was there for that picture. Was that the year that someone threw in a propane tank? Got to love drunk people.

That reminds me of the RV fire last year. Well, it was a rather small trailer thing, but it burnt to the gorund, and everyone was standing around watching it. I really hope that wasn't any of you guys' RV... I was videotaping it and some guy started yelling at me because his tent was really close to the fire and apparently my camera caused the blaze or something. Then there was the little flare thrown inside of the porta-john incident which turned into the porta-john on fire incident which led the pouring beer on the smoldering porta-john to put out the fire idea which the segwayed to a posse chasing down the culprit and finally culminating in the arrest of said arson. Again, hope that wasn't any of you

That is not me & my crew. I have caused my share of havoc in years past, but I gave all that up years ago.
Hell just ask TDDwest, a SF.com moderator.... we kicked him out of the SF.com truck for yelling at the cops.

Check out the bingo card image labeled "Squeezed." A large woman popped out the puppies and out of nowhere some kid grabs them. Looks like the same kid is standing in the bonfire. http://home.att.net/~dirk.pitt/pitcrew/bingo_card.pdf

You've only got to spend 5 minutes on sebringfans.com to realize that, while many of them may be knowledgeable fans, this race is mostly a drinking binge with some noisy cars in the background. The focus (on that site) on alcohol consumption is really kind of depressing. I'm kind of amazed (and disappointed) that track management doesn't do anything to try and go a bit more upmarket. If I wanted to hang with drunken louts I'd go to a British premier league game. -the_stig, a ferrarichat.com douchebag

I like the bingo card, I've already printed mine out and will laminate it before the race!!!
Great way to enjoy the day ... some will be easy to spot, some harder ... maybe we have to have photographic evidence in the event of a tie!
Cheers, Scott

Will they let F-troop have a bonfire this year? When I was there last (10 or so years ago) there were no bonfires allowed in the infield, worries about smoke across the track interfering with drivers visibility and such. (Unlike the late 60's / early 70's when there were bonfires all over the place...) However, after the race ended Saturday night there was always a bonfire in the vicinity of F-Troop. Of course, I saw a bunch of inebreiated idiots playing 'Superman', diving across the bonfire and unfortunately one missed and landed short... He became what we called in the Navy a 'screaming alpha' until about 5 of us wrestled the guy to the ground and smothered the flames and got the nearby EMT's over to attend to him. So ... are bonfires not allowed any more? Cheers, Scott

Two people died in 04. One fell off the truck in Green Park, the other did so in the paddock. That was the year of my first sebring. I was never the same after I left that track. I don't think that you are allowed to have them any more. I can't blame them. People were being pretty stupid with them. Last year they broke out the tank to chase the people away from them. That was pretty funny.

Oh the good old days............................. Fires, mud bogs, girls, beer, girls, more beer, blenders, girls, blender girls. And isn't there a race going on? 25 for me this year. I get so worked up with end of the year bull, and Christmas. I need Sebring, I want Sebring, I live to go to Sebring. And I never have any fun at Sebring.
