Dilemma Time,

My plans to attend hinged or were rather counting on the workforce accepting the companies pay rise offer at a mass meeting this morning.  Basically I was going to use the back pay to January to pay for my flight.

I have never seen a deal not get carried on a hand vote before.

Err, well not until this morning ! It was close so went to a count with people moving to which ever side of the room for or against . It came back 451 to 393 in favour of rejecting the deal. This almost certainly means no back pay in the August pay packet now.

So what do I do, do i book it anyway and bang it on the credit card and hope that the pay deal and back pay gets sorted out before the interest free period on the card runs out ?

This would involve lieing to my mum and dad and telling them that the deal was accepted and the funds are in place for the trip. If I tell them the truth and that I am booking it anyway in hope that the deal gets sorted soon, then i would be getting ear ache from them that I am spending money that I don't have.

I'll be there.

I think there's talk of us driving our bus up, so if someone is going to be in the area and wants to stake out a big ass spot for us in advance, we will reward you with beer and a sweet view from the top of the bus.

I'd post a picture of it, but I'm lazy.

Hey can I get in on the Bus ride? I can bring my own sleeping arrangements, I just want a ride up and back.

Hellooooooo..... Where is 311Unity? I am sure we can get him to save us a spot.

If we take the bus, I'm sure you can get a ride. It'll probably be a handfull of people. It makes one hell of an observation deck...has an awning on the side, a pull out bbq grill, and a tap..oh, and beds.

If not, we should borrow the RX8

If camping at Road Atlanta, do I just need the camping pass at $25 or will I also need a car park pass also at $25 to go with it ?

Also is the camping pass area specific when i book it or will any camping pass let you pick and choose where you want to camp when you arrive ?

Thanks for your help.

Regards

All you need is the one camping pass. At least that's the way it HAS been.

I'll be there to set up camp on Thursday morning. We camp in the woods near turn 10. We hope to have a flatbed trailer, generator and small PA so we can do a poor imitation of F-Troop.

I can't wait. After that BULLSHIT at Indy, I need some real racing.

Peace.
