Does anyone out there know a man named either Joel or Troy that was driving a Panoz truck around on friday night.  (I was a little too intoxicated to remember his name)  This man made a handsome wager of 5 dollars on the race with me, then was no where to be found the next night to pay.  If someone could help me, that would be great.  I don't want to spend all of my time at Mid Ohio looking for him.  All gas money is a help!!!!!

Nope, we gave up on him a long time ago. He's just a little girl who couldn't own up to a gentleman's bet. As for the possibilty of another kidnapping to square the deal: it can't happen anymore since I got rid of the Jetta and no longer have a trunk to appear out of while driving him out to the middle of nowhere.

I dont' know about dead, but she's definitely out of my hands. Just got too expensive to keep fixing.

Well...it is German, and unfortunately isn't an Audi or Porsche, or MB..so it's bound to suck.

Nate,

This is like mine except I don't have the front splitter and different wheels.  With the mods its easily over 300hp to the rear wheels ( meaning it makes at least 350 hp at the crank.)  Stock hp for an 86 was 217.  147k miles is nothing.   Just broken in.    Buy your self a shitbox for the winter if you need to deal with some snow.

Priced to sell at $7500.00. Will not seperate parts, part out, or trade.

1986 944 Turbo (951)

White with Black Interior
- 147,xxx miles, Zero Accidents
- Sport Seats – Factory Special in Cloth “Pin Stripe” – Four Way Elect Adjust
- 930S Steering Wheel
- No Dash Cracks
- Short Shift Kit
- AIR Front Lip Spoiler – Painted to Match
- Koni Front Coilover / Rear Koni Shocks
- K27 / 6 Turbo
- Custom Vitesse Chip for K27 Turbo
- Electronic Boost Controller – Blitz (DSBC) Dual Solenoid. EVO Diverter Valve.
- Fresh Powder Coated Phone Dial Wheels
- New Cometic Head Gasket with mild Engine Re-Fresh. Venturi delete. All belts, hoses, and hardware replaced. Fuel lines replaced, Injectors cleaned / repaired. Engine pieces Powder Coated

Purchased in Oct 2003. I have the title in hand. This is my 5th Porsche, and the second 951 I’ve owned. Have done a significant amount of minor work to get the car up to snuff. Originally purchased to be a 50/50 Street/DE car, but a job loss forced it into 100% street duty (I’ve only done one DE with this car). Car is an excellent daily Driver / Highway car, that doubles as a fun backroads toy. Pending job re-location forces sale. I have every receipt from purchase (and several from previous owner) – a stack almost an inch thick! Almost all work has been done in the last 10,000 miles.
Paint is not original, but is in very, very good shape, with a few small dents and chips. I had a second set of wheels for most of the time I owned the car, so the original Phone Dial wheels / tires are as new.

What (besides whats listed above) is new or has been replaced ––
Engine undertray (both pieces), Tool kit, Lower Front control Arms with 968CS bushings, Exhaust Manifold(s) and all exhaust gaskets, Stereo, Fog Lights, Floor Mats, Wheel locks, Center Console, Radiator Expansion Tank, Distributor Cap, Rotor, and Ignition Wires, Rear Hatch Struts, Climate Control Unit ($$), Rear Hatch Seal, both Sunroof Seals, and a TON of seals, gaskets and hardware.

What it Needs
New Carpet – Sort of. Have a complete World Carpet kit. Everything from the seats forward is installed and is as new. Rear hatch area has not been installed, but all the carpet pieces are included.
A/C has very slow leak and needs to be re-charged.
Engine has slow oil leak – appears to be the oil pan gasket.
Starter sometimes is slow to turn engine over.
Windshield washer tank is cracked and leaks

Note: Wheels in fotos are not included or installed. New pics after waxing..

Yeah, it's more due to the fact that I just bought a car and don't have sufficient financesto be purchasing another car. Someday though I will own a Porsche. I promise you that
