This is an email I got forwarded from the writer. Why forwarded? Because after he sent the email to www@sebringraceway.com and got it returned, he decided to send it to www@sebringfans.com. I guess sometimes it is a good isea to have a catch-all email address.

I read the mail headers and yes this DID come from Patrick Airforce Base. I will change the person's name to JACK SCHIT, but keep his title. This was going to be a feature story, but I decided against it.

This email is EXACTLY as I got it. I didn't edit anything.

I have been coming to the 12 HOURS OF SEBRING SINCE 1970

And has only missed 1 year, but that might change unless things

change for the better.  You people need to wake up and smell the

roses or listen to your fans because this series is getting real

BOARING in the way of competitiveness.  Where are all the car

Manufactors besides AUDI.  

 

There is NO competition is this series anymore. You look at the

line up and you can predict  the out come of the race before it

even starts. Your series needs a lot more Manufactors to step

up to the plate, like……

PORSCHE 962*            

NISSEN*

TOYOTA*

FERRARI

BUICK-MARCH

JAGUAR*

BMW*

CHEVROLET

FORD

All these companies need to build a race car that can give the

AUDI’s  a real race instead of a 15 lap victory which I’m getting

pretty DAMN tired of watching. This is an AMERICAN race so

what the hell are the AMERICAN manufactures doing these days??

I truly think I going to take a few years off from going to your

Race and even watching it on speed vision because of the

NON COMPETITIVENESS ATMOSPHERE in your series..!!!

**To make it EXCITING again you need to combine your series

with the teams & manufactures in the 24 HOURS OF DAYTONA

SERIES, then you’ll have the competition back again, but its

Apparently the American Le Mans series/Sebring raceway that he was emailing has total control over the manufacturers and their racing budgets.

Besides, this was the closest (unstaged) finish ever at sebring. Maybe he thought there was only 1 audi on the track, that would explain why they came by every minute.
