I am a 50 yr old guy who has probably attended about 40+ Sebring races.   (Yes, my father brought me as a kid)

I remember when camping was an open type area deal, now over by the hairpin (if you can call it the hairpin) we are getting sqeezed out from tent camping. I arrived on Thursday at 10am and was lucky to find a spot. There were acres reserved for parking on Saturday and we like to camp on this side of the track. I guess soon the Greenpark area will be all thats left. Did you all see how crowded it was over there?

Would like to hear your comments and what the hell is going on with the camping situation. One fellow spectator thought that eventually ALL camping would stop except over in Greenpark. Has anyone heard of this?

Rick in Deerfield Beach............Long live the "regular" camping at Sebring!!

Its all about economics. Why should I let a tent camper who only paid $5 bucks get a primo space like down in the "safety pin" (there is no more hairpin!) when I can get a guy with a big RV to pony up a couple of hundred bucks to park there as a Reserved spot? I really didn't mind the RVs being there, but what did burn me up was the ones that pulled in width-wise versus length-wise taking up about 45-50 feet of fence line.  :x

Or the ones that park right up next to the fence where you can't even walk by.  Some were almost touching the fence.
