What is happenning to the ALMS? Where are the prototypes? What the hell ever became of Porsche? We haven't really seen too much that's new since Audi came to the party. And don't say Bentley-they made 1(one) appearance. Is it Panoz's fault? Is it the FIA or ACO? I'm at a loss...

I AGREE!!!  I said exactly what you posted all weekend.  Where are the other manufacturers??  Knowing that Audi is going to take the checkered flag before I even set foot into Sebring the past few years has really taken away from the race...I want to actually see someone step up to the challenge and take the crown from the Audi Team.  Boy I miss the late 80's early 90's.

Fear not. The next couple years should get interesting again. Riley is working on two chasis for the new ALMS rules. Audi is working on the R9. Mazda is now going to be racing an LMP2...and I wouldnt be surprised to see Panoz and Courage come up with something in a year or so. That means we're one or two manufacturers away from something special.
