Interesting aside to Sebring is watching various alumni raise their schools flags signifying pride that made the NCAA Tournament.

The best thing is to watch the Gator fans take them down as they exit the dance, early.

FAU is such a small and new school that my fraternity had more people at our basketball game vs. our rival fraternity than most men's basketball games!  Our football program is up and coming though with the Schnell leading the way!!

True,.. Noles always Live Vicariously through the Gators. If it were not for The Gators the Seminole fans would have nothing to talk about.

BTW,... Where will the South Alabama Indians be seeded in the tourney??? Oh that's right,...They won't even be making the NIT much less the top 65 tournament.

I was going to defend my Gators, but then remembered that it has been a Sebring Friday tradition to sit in the truck and listen to the radio as they go down in the first round.

You've only got to spend 5 minutes on sebringfans.com to realize that, while many of them may be knowledgeable fans, this race is mostly a drinking binge with some noisy cars in the background.
The focus (on that site) on alcohol consumption is really kind of depressing. I'm kind of amazed (and disappointed) that track management doesn't do anything to try and go a bit more upmarket.
If I wanted to hang with drunken louts I'd go to a British premier league game.

Us "Southern Alabama" indians wont make the Not Invited Tourney either. We have a little trouble with our conference having possibly 3 of the 4 number one seeds coming out of it. But I'd rather know I don't belong, than be humiliated and learn I don't belong....AGAIN.

Thankfully only 5 months until Football.

I am hoping for a deep FSU run starting in 15 minutes at the ACC tournment Downtown (I am just outside of DC).

I have a better chance that El Domeano wins the 53rd 12 hours of Sebring AND I get gang raped by the Amish.

In the last 10 years the Gators have made the Tournament 8 times. (9 if you count this years tourney)

They Won 4 Games in 1994 going to the National Semifinal only losing to the eventual National Champion by just 5 points

In 1995 they lost in the 1st round just missing a 3 pointer to tie at the buzzer.

In 1999 they won their 1st 2 games only to lose  72 - 73 in the 3rd round

In 2000 they cruised through the tourney, winning 5 rounds and blowing out Duke, and North Carolina, to make it to the National Championship game.

2001 they Won the 1st round game but lost to a great Temple team in round 2.

2002 they exited early, only surviving the 1st round, but it was an 83-82 double overtime game

2003 they absolutely blew away their 1st round opponent by 30 points, only to get paired in the 2nd round to an absolutely stacked Michigan State team, that might have been one of the best college teams to ever be assembled.

2004 they just were not healthy and only had 7 players available to play their 1st round game.

So only 3 out of 8 years making the NCAA tourney in the last 10 years, have they lost in the 1st round, so I don't know where this early exit stuff is coming from.

Screw March Madness.  Only because OSU isn't playing the post season.  Oh well, we pissed off Illinois.

SEC CHAMPION FLORIDA GATORS

Punked the Kentucky Wildcats by 17 points beating them twice in 7 Days.

It's Great To Be A Florida Gator.

Still think they don't belong in the tournament???
