I just got the schedule for the little league baseball team that I Coach and Sponsor.

We have a game Thursday the 17th at 5:30 in Winter Haven.

I can either say, fuck it, and let my assistants coaches manage the game, or I could come down to Sebring in the morning,... get all set up, then leave at about 3:00, and be back by 8:30 to 9:00pm.

If I choose the later, then I won't be there for my own, WFO Keg Party.

What to do,...What tp do?Huh?

Hell there is only one SEBRING and there are plenty of baseball games the rest of the year. You should be concerned that your son wants to go to baseball and not SEBRING!

My son is only 9,...  And althought I went to my first Sebring when I was just 9, this is my own personal "Annual Rite of Spring",.. Guys weekend out without Wife or Kids,... so he doesn't go because I won't take him.

I just don't want to let my boys down,.. but I don't want to let my Sebring Bros down either,..

Decisions,... Decisions

It woul;d be kinds tough to have the WFO party with out you. It is at your spot, with your Keg.

I am not 100% sure we will be down there bu 3 to grab the Keg from you. I know Guido and 311 will be there so i am sure we could get someone to grab it from you. I could also bring down a Keg. I own my own bucket, Keg & Tap.

I guess the real question is, can your assistants handle the game and would you be letting the team down by not being there.

The job of an assistant coach is to fill in for the head coach. Thats why you have them. Lets analyze this, shall we? 20 screaming kids who dont listen to authority, most of which only play because their parents make them. Or, Fast bad ass cars, world class drivers, racing tradition, Boobs, kegs, fans, the most amazing sunsets in the world, did i mention BEER and BOOBS? Enough said my friend, your coming and staying Thursday!!!

them. The WFO party would not be a party with out you!

A true SebringFan practices sexual abstinence in June so as not to have to celebrate any birthdays in March.

You've only got to spend 5 minutes on sebringfans.com to realize that, while many of them may be knowledgeable fans, this race is mostly a drinking binge with some noisy cars in the background.
The focus (on that site) on alcohol consumption is really kind of depressing. I'm kind of amazed (and disappointed) that track management doesn't do anything to try and go a bit more upmarket.
If I wanted to hang with drunken louts I'd go to a British premier league game.

Dude be there for your kid then come back for the races right after. Your kid will love you for it and you can get plastered on an clean conscience.

The bulk of the drinking will go well into the night, so you start an hour or two later. You can catch up on drinking really easy, dissapointing your son can last for a long time. Sad
Why do I feel like that scene in the courtroom at the end of "Big Daddy"

cry I gotta call my dad.
