Woman sues over request to expose breasts to ape

Associated Press
Feb. 28, 2005 08:55 AM

WOODSIDE, Calif. - Iris Rivera is going to court, charging she was pressured to flash a gorilla. Rivera is suing the Northern California-based Gorilla Foundation. Rivera contends that foundation officials repeatedly told her to flash her breasts for Koko, the world-famous sign-language-speaking gorilla.

Rivera says she was told that exposing her nipples was a way of bonding with the female ape.

Rivera is the third woman to file suit against the foundation over the alleged breast-baring request. But the other two women said they quit without taking off their tops. An attorney for the foundation says the lawsuits have no merit.

You've only got to spend 5 minutes on sebringfans.com to realize that, while many of them may be knowledgeable fans, this race is mostly a drinking binge with some noisy cars in the background.
The focus (on that site) on alcohol consumption is really kind of depressing. I'm kind of amazed (and disappointed) that track management doesn't do anything to try and go a bit more upmarket.
If I wanted to hang with drunken louts I'd go to a British premier league game.
