Yeah, I raced a test race with the regular controller and decided that was enough. Spent the next half an hour trying to figure out how to get the steering wheel to work (tip: has to be plugged into the first usb port). I also did what I know best and went for the rally...as it's more forgiving. I havent played GT in months and months and it showed...but it sure was fun. I also like the idea of the B-spec mode.

I dont know if i'm going to import my gt3 stuff yet...I mean, it'll make things a hell of a lot easier, but part of me wants to go through and do it the right way. That being said I couldnt get the gold on the first b-license race even with the pedals setup. so I'll probably give in to temptation and cheat a little.

It is really not cheating. It pulls a few licenses, that you can redo and gives you 100K of your money. The cash makes it a little easier as you can jump to a midrange car and can afford to set it up a little.

I went with a Used (yes they have used cars now) Mazda RX-7 (FB).

The coolest thing I found was manufacturer's races. with my Mazda I can go to the mazda showroom and enter a Mazda-only race.

I need some more cash too because I want to try the truck series they have in there.... Hmmm... a Lightning or a SSR.... hard to choose
