It's me, the cosmic hitch-hiker. I am looking for a viable way to get from Tampa to Sebring that doesn't involve me renting a car and driving -- I can no longer drive myself. I'm coming in on the 16th and need to be dropped off at a Tampa-area hotel on Sunday.  I will contribute toward fuel or equivalent cash money if you can pick me up and drop me off.

Please message me at kate@rfmsports.com or a private message.

Thanks guys and gals.

Good, then we will all be on the same page!

My flight gets into Tampa on the 16th at 1:00 p.m.  I am on no particular schedule on Sunday, I'm staying overnight at the Days Inn Stadium and will go home Monday (I like to have a day to rest up and catch up on my website work before I go home. and it's freezing up here.)

we get our MH on the 17th around 10am, pack it up and leave. We return home on sunday whenever we wake up after a few hours sleep, pack up and leave.

Are you checking into the days in on the 17th?

We are usually on the way by 1pm but if nobody else steps forward we can get you down there and back the airport/stadium is only about a half hour out of our way.

You wouldn't happen to be mac based are you? I am scrambling to get my digital shots from my camera to my ipod. I don't want to have to buy a newer ipod/photo reader or laptop to replace mine. worse come to worse I will buy a used ibook Tongue

Not Mac based, no.  An elderly Dell laptop.  And I know nothing about iPods; sorry about that!  My photographer that I had at Le Mans last year was Mac based and he loaded photos onto a flash drive that were readily transferrable to my PC.

I will be checking into the Days Inn on Sunday after the race.  During the race I camp with the Marshalls, so as to be close enough to walk, and in a quiet area (more or less) with early to bed and early to rise types.  Cool
