Ther is a rumor that the Petit Le Mans will run right after sebring and before the Le Mans race.

Sounds like a good plan. Fill the gap in the schedule and become the ALMS warmup for Le Mans.... works for me!

Going for my first triple this year... Already booked Sebring & LeMans.... Oct is still open... but I will be there in Georgia again... (1st triple with my 3rd visit to PLM)

I'm with him. I like having the enduro near the end of the season. It's a nice way to go out. Plus i can afford it it better that way

So let me get this right....there was a rumor in 2004 and this thread was just revived....is this still a possibility?  I agree with the Big Dude...that would be too close to each other.  Need more time off work, more money, the dog sitter, oh so many considerations...I would never make it to both.

Ok, well i for one did not bother to look at the date of the original post  idiot2 I would imagine if they were talking about it in 2004, and the 2008 schedule is already set, then that idea was scrapped
