Want some juicy stuff for Sebring 2005?

Road construction is almost complete on the highway entrance to the track. We will have a stoplight Smiley

Sebring started selling 50X50 spots on thhe outside of turn 17 down the straight. Yes it is $500 a spot, but you can park your motorhome parallel to the track. There will be a walkover to the paddock and a new road out there, along with landscaping. Those spots are almost all sold out.

Sebring is trying to install water and electric for every trackside spot. I doubt they will have them all done by 2005, but hey it is a start. Smiley

Mazda will back a factory effort in the GT class, bringing back the powerful Rotary Motor to Sebring. I hope they can make it by the decible police this time Smiley

Just came back from the Historics, Nothing was happenin on the back straight as far as parking, roadwork, bridges etc. They must be pretty fast construction guys to get all this done in 4 months! Great weekend watching some awesome cars and a little taste of the big time!

Get this... The Mazda RX-8 is officially a sedan because it has 4 doors so it can not run in the GT class. Mazda is trying to get a 4 door class added.

I heard a rumor of a factory backed Rotary powered LMP2 car though Smiley
