Well you mised all the fun of the fair if you were not lucky enough to get locked up for a week in the hole. I used my influence, and cried like a little girly-man, so I was upstairs, over-looking the front stretch, with my laptop nicely hidden under a cardboard box, as a hood. Meanwhile, down in the depths, there was a little carnange, with photogs etc climbing all over each other, trying to get a connection, or even their seat. Talk about a sweat shop! I expected to see new Nike's flowing out of that place. I liked the reasonable insanity of the journalisti upstairs, especially the dsc crew coming up with their stories. The ones that did not get to print were the best, needless to say, but libel and slander laws would have eaten their budget..dang!
All in all, there was not as much buzz as usual, as we all knew what the result was going to be, it was just we did not know the EXACT order. Still, a fairly entertaining race away from the Audi juggernaut. Always great to go to Sebring after the 124 Hours at Daytona.
Anyone who can compare these two races on an even footing is in serious need of help. Did anyone notice the CROWD??? At least as big as 2002.
The billboard and track layout tee's I printed for the track are all but cleaned out. There are quite a lot of the "official poster" tee left over.
Not mine, so I dont mind!!!!!
Will try and get an inside scoop while in Le Mans for the week. All depends on France-Telecom getting us hooked up. Took till late Wed last year. Union laws only permit 30 hours per week of work.........Which means that as it's France we are talking about here, they must be doing 15 hours of overtime!!!!!!
