Hated the one I did 2 years ago (Shane didn't seem to mind both years), but I had some material & time....

Anyone planning on attending this summer?

I'll be there, it's one of my "local" tracks.

Great effort, but, sadly, no Shane at Mid-Ohio.   Cry
Velox racing has pulled the plug on their GTC program.

Hey Lee,

That sucks, but Shane will get a ride somewhere, he always does. So I will go ahead & finish it, idle hands etc.

As far as the race, the race look for the attached car with a Sebring Fans logo in the back window. I always park in the trees along the road near the Pizza and flushers in the infield, near the "road" that cuts off to the left. Stop by for a beer and food if I am cooking at the time Smiley

YFDS will be there in full force, usually hanging in the infield near the bottom of the Honda bridge.

I'm actually from Dayton, we only do Yuengling at Sebring. There will be plates from Ohio, Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee and probably Virginia, but no Pennsylvania. If my buddy from Virginia can grab some, I'll have him get an extra for you. Rumor has it that it's going to be distributed in Ohio later this year. I can feel the hangover already.

Hardpoint,

Just down the road in Cinci. I had Yeungling at a college reunion in PGH  last fall & loved it...and drank a shit load and no hangover. If he could grab me a case I would love it.

You guys doing any other events, I got the season pass this year so I will at least double my attendance.

Later, Art

No other events at M-O this year, and most of us will be leaving Sunday morning before the irl shitboxes desecrate the track. I really miss the Runoffs, that was always a great weekend. There will be a group at Road America (not me unfortunately) and a large group for Petit.

I'll see what I can do about the Yuengling.  Beer

Couldn't agree more about the RunOffs...you probably saw me in this car (see attachment). I drove it to RA and Watkins Glen several times.

Also agree about Sunday, I am there but generally leave at the beginning of that race. But I am heading to Indy this weekend, just a bus trip getaway with a little drinking involved Smiley it was an offer that was too cheap to refuse

If the beer happens...BONUS!!!!

Just downloaded the entry list for the Nurburgring 24 hours and happy to see that our favourite driver Shane Lewis is driving an Audi RS4. Going to have to make a "Go Shane Go" banner to take with me now, also make sure that I drop by and say hello and wish him well on behalf of everyone at Turn 10

Just gets better as Johnny O is racing as well in a Renault Clio

So two of our favourite drivers to support in three weeks time.
