Out of all the good times I have had durring my present life cycle, the Us Festival ranks third only to Sebring and the 24 Hours. Steve from Apple put this historic event on back when.

 I never really payed attention to this band even though I saw them at this event.

Of course--Terry Bozzio played drums for Zappa too.  His wife Dale (with the fish-bowl titties) joined them on a live album for the archetypal Sebring song Titties and Beer.  Frank was the devil, Terry the biker dude, and Dale the chick:  "I've got three beers and  a fist full of downs, I'm gonna get ripped, so fuck you clowns!"

Is there some X in the first video?  I didn't watch all the VH-1 documentary stuff.

You've only got to spend 5 minutes on sebringfans.com to realize that, while many of them may be knowledgeable fans, this race is mostly a drinking binge with some noisy cars in the background.
The focus (on that site) on alcohol consumption is really kind of depressing. I'm kind of amazed (and disappointed) that track management doesn't do anything to try and go a bit more upmarket.
If I wanted to hang with drunken louts I'd go to a British premier league game.

I take it you guys like Bogus Pomp then?.......... Need to hook you up with my brother he's like a Zappa historian, I was forced to listen to his stuff for years and grew to love it........ Billy The Mountain!

All-

  I do recall way back when I was in Jump School that Dale Bozzio posed for Hustler...and YES....showed ALL.  Would have been sometime, say middle of '78.....

Of course.  I've finished second in the Zappaween costume contest twice.  Is your brother local?  I have yet to check out Jerry Outlaw's new band; was playing weekly for free at a hole-in-the-wall on Treasure Island (Sunday nights).
