Heads up for those in St. Pete.  There's a new ice vending machine, one of those 40 ft trailer sized things, in the parking lot of the old K-Mart on 34th street south (US 19).  Just south of 38th ave s, on the west side.  As of Saturday they still had an introductory offer of one dollar for a 20 pound bag.  I'm stopping there Thursday morning on my way to Sebring.

You've only got to spend 5 minutes on sebringfans.com to realize that, while many of them may be knowledgeable fans, this race is mostly a drinking binge with some noisy cars in the background.
The focus (on that site) on alcohol consumption is really kind of depressing. I'm kind of amazed (and disappointed) that track management doesn't do anything to try and go a bit more upmarket.
If I wanted to hang with drunken louts I'd go to a British premier league game.

Your friends on SebringFans stepped up to help when you thought you might not make the race.  You're on your own with this problem.

If there is room, I will bring plenty of ice on Friday morning. I'll trade a bigass bag for a frozen drink Drinker
If my camping neighbor show up Friday afternoon as usual, he brings about 200 lbs more than he needs.
