I got a flight booked already for Wednesday this year into Orlando and found a great price out ouf Tampa on Sunday at 2:55PM direct with no stops so I get home at a reasonable time. What time would I have to leave the track Sunday morning to catch the flight?  Then of course I need to find a ride to the airport....

Without referring to Mapquest I'd say about 2 hours.  If you're in Green Park sometimes there's a traffic jam getting across the track Sunday morning, so might want to plan on a bigger buffer (or move the car to the other side earlier).  I think this year it took almost 45 minutes to get from the hairpin to the vehicle bridge.

You've only got to spend 5 minutes on sebringfans.com to realize that, while many of them may be knowledgeable fans, this race is mostly a drinking binge with some noisy cars in the background.
The focus (on that site) on alcohol consumption is really kind of depressing. I'm kind of amazed (and disappointed) that track management doesn't do anything to try and go a bit more upmarket.
If I wanted to hang with drunken louts I'd go to a British premier league game.

Alpine, as someone that makes that trip annually (bear in mind that 'Bro-Ken-Flush' lives 20 minutes from TPA) the two hour guestimate provided by KS is spot-on, door-to-door.  You still have to plan on time to check in for the flight, and for the sake of those sitting near you shower before boarding.  I would plan on being off-track and on the road absolutely NLT 10:00 am, sooner would be better.

Note that I too am flying out of TPA, but will schedule my flight later, more like 5:00-7:00 pm or so.
