Hey Gang,
First- As some of you may know Norm's sister Gloria gave me ALL his models (Whew!!! that's a LOT of ALL.....). I already know a couple of folks he had promised models to and now that I have my work space rearranged I'm commencing with a miniature assembly line.
I.....he...we owe 'Vettes to Sandy, Mike and Tony (<--plus some Jags) and I'm finishing the Brumos 935 for Lee. Last chance......is there anyone else that should be on the list that I either didn't know about or forgot?
Second- I have a kit of the Lister LMP car with a cryptic Post-It note stuck on the box: "Norm, the decals are in the bottom of the box, Bob." Can anyone identify who "Bob" might be? I have no idea who Bob is, or if he sold the kit to Norm or if Norm promised him a model.
Thanks in advance to one of the greatest groups of folks I know.....
-Rick

Hello Rick,
Sounds like you're making progress. Can't wait to see the 935. thank you
I am also in for one of the Vettes with the itty bitty Turn 10 decal on the back.

Rick,
I'm into old Porsche's, so if you have any more models that need a home please let me know. I would be honored to have one of Norm's cars in my office.

The only Bob I can think of is BobU from the UK who has been with us at Turn 10 for the last 2 or 3 years. I'll check with him!

It's been a year as of 1am March 1. Please keep Norm in your thoughts as you pack and prepare to party at Sebring. He'd like it that way..... See you all soon! Sandy.

It's not so much what you don't know that's gonna hurt you, but rather what you already know that just ain't so.

In our thoughts today. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7V9MmJ1qo4 - A little video tribute to Norm Koury that I was able to piece together from the only footage that I have of him. This was shot riding in La Bomba, with the entire cast of Sebring Cows and the Turn 10 Gorillas onboard back in 2009. Norm always made you feel special when you hung with him, a fun loving cat with a big heart and a guy who we all miss.

I never knew Norm, The spreading of Norms ashes at Turn 10 was the biggest Family event he could ever hope for. For me it was very moving. I have 1 tie dye shirt that I wore that day. I have never worn it since, or the glasses. They are reserved. RIP Norm, us old guns will do you proud.

I wear mine regularly to work and I wore it on the 1st of March as well. Many people decribe it as a walking migraine when they see how bright it is, so i kind of think that would make Norm laugh, everyone else wearing corporate blue work wear and me walking around in a dayglo tie dye shirt.
