Looks like a High School / College photography club ... or maybe a class for budding photographers ... but not race photographers.

I remember them. From a local college on special asignment for their photography course.
I met two of the girl. they wer more interested in the people shots than cars on the track.

It's a University of Georgia Photojournalism course.  I think this was the fourth year they've been at Petit.
