All-

I'm Rick, the screen name is for one of my many hobbies, I maintain the Group 44 Registry keeping track of the surviving cars & people from Group 44 (wish I could make the "44"s backwards here).  In real life I am a Toyota Expert Technician and ASE Master Tech.  I also have my own shop for side work restoring old British, and some Italian iron.  I literally grew up around sportscar racing, my dad was a mech for N.A.R.T. (North American Racing Team) the US semi factory Ferrari team then had his own sportscar / racecar shop.  He brought me to my first Sebring in '65 (I was 8, makes me 52 soon to be 53) the year of the "Great Deluge".  He was with the works Triumph TR-4 team.  I have to admit I missed a few over the years but even when I was in the Marines I made it a point to take leave to head to SIR.

I am the crew chief for two former Group 44 cars, the Triumph TR-6 and TR-8,  Those that were here last year saw the TR-8 running in the vintage support race.  LIke a fighter plane crew chief I am proud to call them "my" cars.

I'm hoping to bring some of my dad's slides from the 1960 12 Hours for the T-10 slide show (all I have to do is FIND them....LOL)

See y'all at T-10 this week...............

Hi guys/gals... Italianguy63 here.  I'm Italian and was born in '63.  My real name is Mark.  My psuedo name is "Gino" when I don't want people to know who I am because I am engaging in Sebring-eske antics.  Smiley  I am on a Gasparilla Krewe out of Tampa, so I know the party drill.  I veiw this as the same except you don't have to walk as much, and you have a place to crash.  That's called a Win/Win!

As I have told you.  Newb to the site.  Semi-newb to Sebring (first visited in 2008, although I moved to Central Florida in 1970.)  I know, let the flames begin.

I work in Orlando, and live in Bartow.  My avatar is actually a pic of me.  I would post a better one, but don't have a picture sharing URL.

I am a gear head, like hot rods, cars, motorcycles, beer, partying, and the like.  Looking forward to joining the brotherhood!

Name is Chris

First Sebring was 1998. Before that I thought Sebring was just a POS Crystler. Worked with 701 group my first couple of times and got hooked.  Missed a few because of money, kids, and a wedding (Quote: Whens the wedding? ow...God damn-it!).

I've read this forum for a couple of years but just joined after reading about the chumpcar project.

Me and the wife are coming alone this year azn. Her name is Domenica "Doe-min-EEK-a" (No, not lke the repuiblic. No, shes not black, its an Italian name.) We'll park the Hoop-dee RV were ever we can find a spot thurs. night. There is usualy some open space in the infield between the drive over and walfover.

I know lots of you are already there and might not have internet, but for those that aren't  Beer Drinker I CAN'T WAIT!!!
