Well after spending the last two days going though my pictures, I have uploaded them to my web page. You can click on each photo for a larger size. Here: http://www.nosweatphotos.com/gallery/v/ALMSPhotos/They are broken into days and events, there are two pages of them. To view a slide show there is a place on the left side of the page under the search box. There also is a option box just above the full page to control the speed of the slide show. What is really strange is if you look hard at some of the "Flaming Balls of Fire" a few of them have a face in them, one even looks to have a hat on and is smoking a cigarette.     I will post some of my favorites on my FaceBook page in a few days. Just so some of you can tag them !! Later, Bill |

Dr. Whoopie- I tried to post a pic of Norm, sitting in his "Bunny Chair", boots kicked off, watching the race, but even after 15+ years of noodling around with 'puters I must obviously be totally inept. For some reason I cannot pull the pic out of "My Pictures" and insert it here, even tho I hit the "Insert Image" icon above. Any help / suggestions? Anyone? -Rick |

You've only got to spend 5 minutes on sebringfans.com to realize that, while many of them may be knowledgeable fans, this race is mostly a drinking binge with some noisy cars in the background.
The focus (on that site) on alcohol consumption is really kind of depressing. I'm kind of amazed (and disappointed) that track management doesn't do anything to try and go a bit more upmarket.
If I wanted to hang with drunken louts I'd go to a British premier league game.

Please don't mock. He was a dear dear friend to many of us. I now have proud possession of the "Bunny Chair" and I gave MiDonna the green tutu. Only fitting, it was for her wedding but there is still (as far as I know an APB out for the Roll Tide cup? ? Please for the love of God and all that is Holy please don't drink from it. It did contain Human remains. If you know who has it please report to me or Rick. No questions asked...... |
