In the weeds again

Anybody in the Rodeo area with WI-FI access? Any updates from party-central-in-exile at this point? So far, the sheriff's office says the crowd there has been "well behaved" -- but of course the weekend is looming.
Remember, Sunday is "ride the Racetrack" from 10a - 3p. Two laps in a Skip Barber sedan with an instructor, they go out in flites of three to "simulate a race condition." - just so you know...

I would guess it is in the field where everyone is camping right now.    Undecided

Oops, yes sorry. I guess it is a trivia question.
The area in which the early arrivals now are waiting is commonly known as "the rodeo area." At one of the races in the very early years, organizers held a rodeo there, believing that the fans of the race would also enjoy the rodeo and vice versa.
It did not work, but the name stuck.
I assumed most people knew about it but I guess not.
So, now you know the rest of the story.
