The Cowhead Show is better than American Idol. I'll agree that people that watch American Idol are pathetic fuck-holes..

since it's one of the top rated shows in the Tampa market. And NASCAR's ratings are about 1000 times higher than ALMS If they were giving away NECKCAR tickets they would be flooded with calls. Can't stand that Cowhead show stuff,.. or any of those talk radio shows,.. Bad jokes,.. people laughing at nothing like the second coming of Ed McMahan,.. I have all but quit listening to the radio any more,... Especially 102.5. They probably play about 5 hours of music in a 24 hour period The whole ratings thing just shows that the majority of the people have no taste.

On the SebringRaceway site, it says there are only a handful of pit passes left. Sounds like those will be selling out, too. Glad I got mine

Pit passes? They haven't done that for years. Did I miss something?

I'm with you Dave; saw Bubba the Love Sponge on that link and figured I'd rather pay for tickets. Can you get WMNF 88.5 in Winter Haven? Non-profit community radio--music is all over the place--there are shows dedicated to blues, jam band, 60s rock, industrial metal, polka, etc... so try again if it's weird when you tune in.

You've only got to spend 5 minutes on sebringfans.com to realize that, while many of them may be knowledgeable fans, this race is mostly a drinking binge with some noisy cars in the background. The focus (on that site) on alcohol consumption is really kind of depressing. I'm kind of amazed (and disappointed) that track management doesn't do anything to try and go a bit more upmarket. If I wanted to hang with drunken louts I'd go to a British premier league game. -the_stig, a ferrarichat.com douchebag

Yeah,.. Different strokes for different folks I guess, so it's all good! I've always been a fan of WMNF,.. I miss WORJ / ZETA 7 Mount Dora/Orlando from back in the day. That's when Radio was good and they didn't just play the same set of "hits",.. Sometime the DJ would just play an entire album side,.. they didn't have all those stupid sounds effects, didn't talk over the music, and played the long version of a song, not the chopped up and edited 3:05 version.

Do you remember when 102.5 was a progressive station like that? Quad 102.5, broadcast in quadrophonic sound. Went all Jazz in the late '70s, early '80s, I believe.

I have gotten them before. Always a good time at the pitts. Action packed... Yeah, I get one for the Fangio Terrace. A few years back when the rain came pouring down, I spent the whole afternoon on Friday up there--brought a cooler full of beer and some snacks and watched all the action at Pit-In. It was hilarious, because there was about a foot of water on the front straight, so as soon as the races went to green, we had rooster tails going 20 feet in the air, and the cars at the back were driving blind. Went to yellow after every lap, but there were some fun spinouts. Nothing dangerous, since they didn't ever get up to full speed, but it was a bit like smash-up derby. Anyway, my pitpass is insurance against rain. It costs an extra $100, but if you split that over 4 days, it's only $25 a day extra. Well worth it, in my opinion. See you at the track!

Yep,.. remember that. Being in Winter Haven I've always had the benefit of getting Stations out of Orlando and Tampa
