I am essentially done and working on the "final" DVD (make me stop before I edit again!).  I'm considering bringing a pile down to Sebring and actually selling some in hopes of covering my travel expenses.  Make a $20 donation and receive a complimentary copy...  Quality materials, full DVD box similar to those auctioned off at Johnny's Auction. Not available in any store! I'm gauging the response as it may be the difference between going or not this year, which sucks but we've all been there.

It sounds a bit like public radio begging but it will allow me to "continue my work" in the field of telling stories about the greatest American Sports Car Race. If anyone's interested let me know.

Netter,

That's an interesting question.  I'll look into that and get right back to you.

Hi John,

Yes, please stick me down for a copy, only too happy to pay for a copy of what has been a labour of love for you for around 5 years. See you at Sebring.

Regards

Is there any nudity?

You've only got to spend 5 minutes on sebringfans.com to realize that, while many of them may be knowledgeable fans, this race is mostly a drinking binge with some noisy cars in the background.
The focus (on that site) on alcohol consumption is really kind of depressing. I'm kind of amazed (and disappointed) that track management doesn't do anything to try and go a bit more upmarket.
If I wanted to hang with drunken louts I'd go to a British premier league game.

Depends on what you're wearing when you watch it...
