You've only got to spend 5 minutes on sebringfans.com to realize that, while many of them may be knowledgeable fans, this race is mostly a drinking binge with some noisy cars in the background.
The focus (on that site) on alcohol consumption is really kind of depressing. I'm kind of amazed (and disappointed) that track management doesn't do anything to try and go a bit more upmarket.
If I wanted to hang with drunken louts I'd go to a British premier league game.

Hell it's raining buckets here in Melbourne Beach right now. Can't imagine it drying out that much but I sure hope so. We've gotten about 2 inches today, couple more inches predicted for tomorrow. All our streets are flooded. If this happened at Sebring it would be mudbowl.

This is just a front that's moving through,.. more rain tomorrow then clearing out for what looks like the warmest and nicest weekend of the year so far!!!!!! Mid to High 70's with little chance of rain!!!! |

HOWEVER!, I'm so looking forward to tommorrow in the field! Forecast...upper 70's, 10 out of a possible 10 on the UV index! I'm gonna get fried in more ways than one! I arranged for a band too! They showed and played in front of my camp last sunday, I'm hoping they'll show tommorrow too!
