For anyone that may be interested, Lynyrd Skynyrd are playing in Plant City Florida (Just off I4 before you get to Tampa) on Sunday 14th March at the Plant City Strawberry Festival. Tickets cost $25 - $30.

I went to see them last night in Manchester and they were awesume. Just a shame I can't make the date in Florida as I think 210 miles in 2 hours might be pushing it a bit.

I'm in for $20 on a ticket for Les.  I'll bet WTF would pitch in, he's an Allman Brothers fan.

You've only got to spend 5 minutes on sebringfans.com to realize that, while many of them may be knowledgeable fans, this race is mostly a drinking binge with some noisy cars in the background.
The focus (on that site) on alcohol consumption is really kind of depressing. I'm kind of amazed (and disappointed) that track management doesn't do anything to try and go a bit more upmarket.
If I wanted to hang with drunken louts I'd go to a British premier league game.

Hmmm I just talked to him on the phone,..  We usually go up to the local Bike Night but it's raining like hell.

I'm good for $20,..   just need $60 more.

He has a bunch of old / brand new in the package cassette tapes that he's been trying to get rid of,....  I could talk him into giving to people,..  and I could talk him into jamming as long as any of the bands and/or camps would let him play along.

You can tell your buddy, that's an Allman Brothers fan, to bring his "Brother and Sisters" album or CD and he'll sign it.  You know Les co-wrote the song "Jessica" with Dickie Betts, and played Lead and slide on Ramblin Man!!!
