It means....

Driving down the road bummen that I have 3 more days of work, daydreaming about Sebring...
I pull to a stop at a red light.. and in my mirror I see this brand new pearl white 911 flashing his lights.
These two guys are waveing and pointing, So I roll down my window thinking what did I do?
The yell out "Turn Ten,..Turn Ten Sebring Yeah" (obviously seeing my sticker) and they start clapping...
So I say, have you guys ever been? They both start laughing and passenger says "been" Hell he's spun out
in Ten before!!! ,.. I say did we Moon ya? and they both start laughing again!!
As I start to ask who are you?? the light changed and they sped off!!!

Don't know who it was, but it sure did make my day!!!!  afro  Cool                                                                                            Beer    Yep,  "Turn 10" is famous.    Beer   What I have noticed on here is everyone from " Turn 10  "   really goes out of their way to be friendly and helpful.   afro   That's what makes the difference.     Beer

A kind of similar thing happened to me last week Mike. I was feeling lazy so I had someone valet park my car. When he brought it back, he said, "Turn 10 man - that place is so cool". It took me a minute to figure that he'd eyeballed the sticker on my car - so I asked him if he'd swung by. He said he'd walked past a few times, but figured it was a private party - but that it looked fantastic.
I got lots of shouts at Le Mans this year, due to my T10 ball cap and a good "talking-to" from Scott Satterlee - the Mayor of Beertown USA, over at Turn 11, who I literally bumped into (in a drunken fugg) between the paddock and Karting Nord. We have global reach!

BTW, I'm jealous that a stunt pulled by F-Troop 28 fucking years ago is still being talked about.  I don't think the Pit Crew or Turn 10 has done anything that good--at least not yet. evil

which makes it truly epic in infield lore.   -Lee    Clap

Spring. Renewal. For me, it reboots me mentally.

3 or 4 days of nothing to fret except perhaps missing the start of a support race.

Sebring means history and camaraderie. Sebring means like minded people all focused on one thing. It means great drivers that become great friends. It means endurance. It means I get to work on the rig that is my obsession and make it better. It means a perfect spring day. It means the sights and sounds of great cars. It means connecting with my Dad.
