Welcome to sebringfans Lloyd. I've really appreciated talking with you these last few days.
Love your post, reads like a poem.

Tad and I lost his car once at Daytona.

Lloyd-

  Good to hear from you.

Lee-

I remember that memorable night with Norm's (beloved) Supra....LOL....by Tad's reasoning the $250 towing & impound fee was a better option than paying $15 for parking.

I recall the time Norm & Tad spent north of $900 at a strip club in Orlando, then came back to Turn 10 with a bunch of useless dreck...I told him for $900 he should have had a couple of the dancers in tow.

All-

A lot of folks have called and e-mailed so I thought I'd post a quick update.  Norm's sister Gloria and brother-in-law Tom have given me all of Norm's  "racing stuff".  I couldn't get it all home this past Friday (I'll get the rest when I go to Jax during the Amelia Island weekend), but I did bring home the "Fast Redhead" banner, the chair and both Beavis & Butthead.  I'll get the gas blender, the camp table, stove and bubble machine later.

I have adopted Norm's pair of cocker spaniels, Ceasar & Boris.  They've been to my vet and a groomer so they look and feel much better than did they while Norm was sick.

I had a very nice visit with Gloria & Tom.  They wanted to pass on their best wishes & thanks to all his racing friends.

Last, I have a few of the models, none finished, that Norm had promised to various people.  They will not be done by Sebing, I just don't have the time.  If Norm was going to build you a model(s) please e-mail me directly, it's on my profile with any info.  I'll do my best to fulfill any obligations Norm had.  Dan B. and/or Johnny O., let me know if he was supposed to do any Vette's for y'all.

Hey Rick,

That's great news, I was hoping his sister would come around to realize that Norm had lot's of friends and would like a few things to help ease some the hurt of his early death. (NormSmileys) cool cool cool cool

Norm had asked for some copies of my photos from last year's race to send to Johnny and others at Corvette Racing but didn't happen in time  Sad Sad Sad

Chris-

Sure!  Sounds like a plan.  I will be working the show field starting at 5 Hay-Em then movin & groovin till the shows over.  Look for me in a golf cart (RHIP) over on the "race car" (naturally!) field.  Short, stout and bearded....LOL...can't miss me.

PS. Guess Sir Stirling Moss isn't going to be there now, since his accident this week.

What time does the Norm party begin?  Right after night practice?  Or during? And is there a keg of Yuengling again?
