You must have missed my reply on the other thread. It seems that only logged-on members can see photos that are uploaded as attachments to SebringFans.com. If you host the photos on something like photobucket anybody can see them.

You've only got to spend 5 minutes on sebringfans.com to realize that, while many of them may be knowledgeable fans, this race is mostly a drinking binge with some noisy cars in the background. The focus (on that site) on alcohol consumption is really kind of depressing. I'm kind of amazed (and disappointed) that track management doesn't do anything to try and go a bit more upmarket. If I wanted to hang with drunken louts I'd go to a British premier league game. -the_stig, a ferrarichat.com douchebag

I have pictures on FB, does that count? I'm not very tech savvy though so perhaps I'm just doing something wrong.

as long as the pictures you have on facebook are set to, viewable to Everyone, there will not be a problem with linking them. If you have them set where only friends can view them then the link might not work. Or if photos are posted from a website that needs a password to get into.

I tried to post images in the Pic Post topic. I used pictures from Webshots, albums are set to public viewing. Right after posted the first test picture I viewed the posting and it appeared. When I came back to add more the original picture was gone. I thought it might have been removed because it was a snowmobiling pic and had nothing to do with racing. But when I posted the new pics, same thing. I ended up removing the postings.

You can use http://imgur.com/ to host photos. It's easy to use and doesn't require registration. If you don't register, however, you need to save the deletion link they give you if you think you might want to take the photo down later. Just click on 'computer,' find the image, click 'upload,' and cut-and-paste the 'message board' text. Paste that text right into the Sebringfans message page, don't click on the little photo icon. The text looks something like this: [..IMG]http://i.imgur.com/PAVV8.jpg[/IMG] Works like this:
