Just an FYI, that was an outlap. A 2:13.5 outlap. Pole time last year was a 2:03. Hmmmm..anyone else think that 10 seconds can be made up without question at full tilt? I'm thinking that we will see GT1 times in GT2 this year.
Well I was looking at the specs between the GT1 and the GT2 and the 2 should be slower, by how much I'm not sure but as I recall they've gone from a 7 liter mill to a 5.5 liter motor. The 6 liter package from 09 was down 120 HP from the 7 Liter so one would think that the 5.5 may only put out between 550 to 575 HP not to mention the car will weigh 165+ pounds more than the GT1...... Adding it all together makes me believe that they may be a few seconds slower than last year but I have been wrong before... Once a long , long time ago.
