Shit.  I hope they can get a new car together in time.  I love that team.  I am looking for more information.  I will post as it comes.

they have a second car..i wouldn't worry too much. While this was their primary car, it shouldn't hurt them too badly.

Their 2nd car is nothing more than a stock GT road car with a wing and safety equipment that they've used for driver training/coaching.

They just received a new tub from Doran and will rebuild a new car from that.

From what I understand, they crashed the car on a thursday, and had a new chassis in the shop on sunday.

The car went ass end into the wall hard at turn 6, so I'd guess the motor in it didn't fair too well...

How the hell did it go into the wall at turn 6?  Turn 6 is just past the drive over bridge, which isnt really a turn at all...  Turn 5 maybe?  Lots of cars go off there.

The Robertson Ford got caught up with a Mazda Miata during the PBOC winterfest race and backed into the wall in turn 6.

I did not see the crash (I didn't arrive at the track until that saturday) so I can't comment on that. I was just told what I mentioned before and that Andrea was behind the wheel at the time of the crash.

The cars are pretty much flat out going thru T-6...getting one last gear for the run down to the hairpin.  If there was contact with another car, I'd say the mazda must have stepped out instead holding his line.  Drivers routinely blow by slower cars thru this corner.
