add me another spot in the zoo in addition to the front straight

That's where we'll be parking the RV.   Not getting there until Thursday morning so not sure where we'll be able to park, but I'm thinking right in the center of the zoo (between the straight that leads to the hairpin and the chicanes.) On top of the little hill there if there's still some area there or toward turn 10 behind the F-Troop stage.  The "El Monte" Rental RV with a "SebringFans.com" banner on it!!!

The Pit Crew should be in the same spot near the bathroom inside the hairpin.  No big truck or disco bus this year.

You've only got to spend 5 minutes on sebringfans.com to realize that, while many of them may be knowledgeable fans, this race is mostly a drinking binge with some noisy cars in the background.
The focus (on that site) on alcohol consumption is really kind of depressing. I'm kind of amazed (and disappointed) that track management doesn't do anything to try and go a bit more upmarket.
If I wanted to hang with drunken louts I'd go to a British premier league game.

Paul, what will you and your crew be driving this year? We usually are able to stumble through your site, but if it gets packed, we might miss...

I've still got the same charcoal-colored Chevy pickup, look for the blimp flying on a pole.  I think I've talked my girlfriend into letting me bring her Aliner trailer.  She says I've got to wash it after Sebring--go figure!  It's a funky A-frame hard-sided popup that is hard to miss.  One of these:

It will certainly be a strain on your relationship, but it's well worth it. Nice to have shelter. I like that trailer--much sturdier than the bigger pop-up. Great for taking a nap in, especially if it rains at all.
