i use my Treo with a dongle to get internet access. i still provide tech support for my clients on Wed and Thurs. If they only knew my blood alchohol content on those days  What's a dongle? |

You've only got to spend 5 minutes on sebringfans.com to realize that, while many of them may be knowledgeable fans, this race is mostly a drinking binge with some noisy cars in the background.
The focus (on that site) on alcohol consumption is really kind of depressing. I'm kind of amazed (and disappointed) that track management doesn't do anything to try and go a bit more upmarket.
If I wanted to hang with drunken louts I'd go to a British premier league game.

Actually they are used for multiple purposes, a lot of high dollar software uses this as security for unauthorized use, you can load the program but all the keys are grey till you plug in the dongle.... A software enabler per say. |

Rcvd email saying WiFi available: daily $9.99, 3 days $27.99, weekly $44.95. Can open laptop browser and buy online with credit card or buy access code at SIR Headquarters Lobby. Has map of coverage area...appears to start just east of hotel at entrance and cover most of area "inside track" including btwn Midway over to track leading to hairpin. Thanks Carolina!! I'm not bringing a computer so it really does matter to me, but kind of ticky tacky for them to charge if you ask me, considering ticket prices. |

That's what makes it even stranger that they are charging for their access. These days if you have a decent laptop, it's not hard to find a signal and usually have several sources to chose from |
