Lime Rock Park sez the same thing ... but WiFi is not available in the camping areas, only in a very limited area around the press booth.  I'm curious just how much of the track will be covered ... that's a lot of WiFi access points...

SACK, is this not for Media only?  Cause they would have to have one hell of a hot spot for that many people trying to get online.  It says about kiosks...how will that work?

On my last trip to Sebring in '08, camped just north of the Party Zone where family camping used to be, I picked up 4 wi-fi signals (control tower, T&S, hot pits, and something else - maybe the escort service signal).   Grin  All were weak, unencrypted, and I was  not able to access.  knuppel2  Probably too drunk to figure it out!   idiot2    Getting a good wi-fi sig for T&S would be great!   Smiley

Maybe they spent the money they used to spend on jumbo-trons to upgrade their wi-fi   Roll Eyes  Yeah, right!  cheesy

Cheers &  Beer

I talked to the director of media at Sebring about the WIFI for fans.  She said "Works like any airport or hotel! New this year!"  There will be a charge for the service, she didn't say how much.    Clap

I find that dicking-around with a computer tends to interfere with the sustained heavy drinking. Leave the damn things at home - you know it makes sense.
