Both Aston-Martin and Jaguar will field two cars at Sebring...

Is that official??  Aston's press release previously stated they would only run one car there but two at le Mans!

Excellent news if it's correct!!

I see 1 Aston and 1 Jag (officially) not the pair of each mentioned elsewhere...

Unfair. Unbalanced. Unmedicated.

Also only 1 Dyson Lola ... I'd heard that, but wasn't sure.

Anyone starting a pool on how long the GTC's will last?  I really doubt those cars will last the full 12 hours...

Dyson will stay with one, The second Jag will probably show for the 12, I'd give it a 70/30 % right now, only 1 aston, the other chassis has to stay in europe for the Paul Ricard test. The GTC's will last the distance, they are basically the RSR without a bunch of the trick stuff and bodywork.

Aston will definitely NOT field 2 cars.  Jaguar may.

Dyson will probably run a 2nd car from Laguna Seca on.

I was told at the winter test (by a driver rep) that AMR would run two cars at Sebring - he apparently was less than accurate  idiot2 (read one AMR - but she's a screamer)

However, Gentilozzi himself said two (2) Jags at Sebring  Clap

Chris Dyson was still trying to work out a deal for their second car at last report -hope for the best. The team will be at the Taylor BP station on Highway 27 on Race Week Wednesday for an in-store appearance with a show car and a simulator

Krohn will NOT run the Mercedes but will field their cute green Ferrari  grin

Tequila Patron will be the Series Presenting Sponsor Drinker and Yancy's Fancy is now the official Cheese of the ALMS (make your own cheese cutting joke here)

All indications point to no as the second chassis was staying in Europe for the Paul Ricard LMS test, on the 7-8 o March. Of course, they could potentially fly that over here anyway. As they still would have what, 6 days until Sebring testing begins? I won't hold my breath, but, sure would be nice!

They do of course have three Chassis, one of which is for a customer car. Plus as you say, they could easily fly the second one over after Ricard. But as far as I was aware, they only ever intended to run one car at Sebring. Would be great if they could prove me wrong though and run two!

That is of course if they don't have to use it after the unpleasantness in Turn One during the winter test.

Every thing I have heard since the test indicates that the AMR car has been put back together already and the team says that the tub was not damaged and that the car is structurally sound. So that should not be an issue for the race.
