LONG TIME FORUM READER FIRST TIME POSTER... I GOTTA GET IN ON THIS. I'M A CIRTIFIED MECHANIC (NOT A BODY MAN) AND I COE OWN A BODY SHOP IN SEMINOLE (D&C COLLISION). I'M NOT A RICH MAN IN THESE SLOW TIMES BUT I CAN DONATE MY TIME,  BODY WORK MATERIALS, DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT, A LIFT, A PAINT BOOTH, AND  I CAN BY PARTS AT WHOLE SALE AND EVEN HAVE A 98 ESCORT ZX2 DOHC ZTEC TO DONATE IF PRIMARY CAR FALLS THROUGH FOR SOME REASON. I ALSO GET TIRES AT COST FROM THE GOODYEAR DEALER THAT DOSE MY TIRE AND ALIGHNMENT WORK. I'D LOVE TO BE PART OF THIS EVEN AS JUST A CAR MECH/PIT WORKER. IF ANY BODYS GOING TO THE HISTORIC RACE SAT. ILL BE THERE TO MEET SO YOU CAN SEE I'M LEGIT AND NO A (COMPLETE) WIERDO.

... SO YOU CAN SEE I'M LEGIT AND NO A (COMPLETE) WIERDO.

You'll need to be at least a little weird to get along with some of us.  I can't make the Historics, but my brother will be representing the Pit Crew, and some of the Kings will be there.

Your offer of help is cool.  Try sending GGoose a private message if you don't hear back soon.

You've only got to spend 5 minutes on sebringfans.com to realize that, while many of them may be knowledgeable fans, this race is mostly a drinking binge with some noisy cars in the background.
The focus (on that site) on alcohol consumption is really kind of depressing. I'm kind of amazed (and disappointed) that track management doesn't do anything to try and go a bit more upmarket.
If I wanted to hang with drunken louts I'd go to a British premier league game.

DC...... Our official paint and wrench guy WOOOO HOOOO, I figure we are 30 days out from paint and that's probably an over estimation. Motors about ready to be duct taped back in so as soon as that's done and we get an assload of small tasks completed its time to start getting the aesthetics in line...... Need some input though should we paint the inside of the car? Look at the forum on Chumpcar.com and there's a guy who just painted the inside of his Camaro, definitely looks nice so what do you think? Feel free to chime in!

Sadly the GBG is forcing me to go to St. Augustine this weekend so I wont be at the Classic cry #%&^$%#^@$#%$!!!

I hear ya.  The girlfriend is dragging me to Floral City for caroling, hay rides, Christmas lights, etc.  But at least we're making a run to Skipper's Saturday night for some blues.

Floral City for caroling, oh my fuck, she better show up with some NASCAR quality Kevlar knee pads on because if it was me she would definitely need them!!!!!!
On the positive side of my weekend I get to drink with the amazing Norm on Saturday and taunt him unmercifully when the Gators ass rape the Crimson Tide in the SEC title game ( WTF is a crimson tide anyhow, always thought it was slang for what women called their period???)

Cool, glad to hear things are moving along nicely. I tend to like the plain bare look inside. But if you paint the inside, I'd do a flat black or something contrasting.

TAJ Racing OPEN HOUSE!!!  (kinda)

We've relocated the car and our other crap to the new race shops (finally!!!) and if there are any local racers in the Tampa Bay area that are new to ChumpCar or beater racing in general, email me and we'll set something up where you can come by and check out our car, exchange ideas, etc.

MONEY$HOT MOTOSPORTS SUPER ULTRA IMPORTANT PRESS RELEASE: I know its been sometime since the last update as work on the Money$hot Motorsports Lude 714 had become long and arduous. I'm proud to announce that the powerful 2.2  VTEC is running as of today and running good. We did run into a power steering pump problem which we think is rectified and we had to bypass the speed sensitive steering portion of the pump for better steering and road feel. The cage work will start this week and hope to have a track worthy car within 30 days or less. The list of items to install is rather long, everything from the kill switch to the Halon fire system needs to be bolted on but that work should go quickly.......... Those of you who have expressed interest in piloting this road eating beast should now begin amassing shit like your driver needs(Fire suit, gloves, socks, shoes, helmet, etc.) and remember NOMEX for everything.... SFI and FIA labels are almost a must for tech. WOOOOOO HOOOOOOO bitches lets go racing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Beer

I need feed back on the logo, personaley I dont think it could have turned out better..... thoughts?
