Thought I would post an update for Moneyshot Motorsports Chumpcar build. Things are coming along, we have the interior gutted and have sold off the entire thing for $600 which gives us play money. I never realized that the Honda is great choice of cars due to the infinite amount of aftermarket performance parts that are available used and dirt cheap. I bought a box of crap that would have been at least $1500 new for $75 from a kid who was parting out his Ricer, some of the stuff we already had as it came with the Lude when we bought it so that will get sold off and the cash parlayed into more needed items. The cage came in and is ready to be welded up but we decided to get the engine squared away first for a few reasons one being not having to push the little bastard every time we need to move it or take it somewhere. One thing that had been bothering me was getting to the track and what to use to do it, so I started looking around on Ebay and found a great little race hauler in Tampa. Its a Big Tex 18' with a storage box and the thing is in great shape, has disk electric brakes on both axles, lockable storage box, tire rack, compressed air fittings outside the box, built in ramps and a few other labor reducing features..... and chrome wheels..... Ya gotta have chrome wheels on a trailer (WTF?) A new one like this was 4500 plus dollars and this one was a 1/3 of that so it was a no brain-er buying it.

I have nailed down a couple drivers so far that have a bunch of current track time but we still need some people so if your interested PM me and lets talk. I want to have the car ready for testing b y Jan. 1 and have joined CHIN and NASA in hopes of getting some track and seat time for shake down purposes. The last thing I want to do is drag the thing 600+ miles to find out that its a can of worms o r has a major problem we didnt catch.

Great day for MONEYSHOT MOTORSPORTS, we are very pleased to announce that we have a new sponsor and its none other than Sebringfans.com who will be covering paint, numbers, real simulated Silver Back gorilla fur and of course very large highly visible Sebringfans.com decals.... I can see one all up high on the "Plymouth Super-bird" like spoiler and on the dynamic Moneyshot hauler, we will be looking good........... Not only do we have a new sponsor but we also have a very exciting new driving, track and spiritual consultant and its none other than the incredible Johnny O. Johnny comes to us from Corvette racing(thank god its the off season) and should be a wealth of info and hopefully will keep our off-course excursions to a minimum...... Tomorrow I will post a photo update of some really exciting shit, so don't forget to check back soooooooon!....... Almost forgot, Lee Self please get a hold of me its time to put your amazing graphics skills to work, check your P.M.'s

"Money Shot" has the potential for some interesting graphics.

You've only got to spend 5 minutes on sebringfans.com to realize that, while many of them may be knowledgeable fans, this race is mostly a drinking binge with some noisy cars in the background.
The focus (on that site) on alcohol consumption is really kind of depressing. I'm kind of amazed (and disappointed) that track management doesn't do anything to try and go a bit more upmarket.
If I wanted to hang with drunken louts I'd go to a British premier league game.

JP that could be the stuff, I got the idea from when my son put these massive brain crushing sub-woofer monstrosities in his ghetto war wagon. They built this giant box and covered it with the very gorgeous real simulated Silver Back gorilla fur. The only draw back is it will have to combed out or brushed during pit stops to maintain its peak look and I forsee that a pre-race grooming team is going to be needed...... I wonder if they make it in a high speed variety for our application?

I have found that a little mousse mixed with varnish does the trick. It can withstand cat 4 hurricane winds yet maintain that gorilla like sheen. It doesn't taste half bad either, although it does tend to harden the stool, which is painful. Shocked Smack Ass

I wasnt thinking of anything that gay, I'm sorry I mean elaborate, but I can probably get some free paint and reducer. I have the gun, the booth is the sticker. If it comes down to it, it won't be the first car Ive painted in the street!

The red pointed fur with the red paint might be too coordinated for this event.....I'd stick with the gorilla fur, won't show the dirt  Smiley

FTM..... It is washable fur and seeing that we will have a styling crew that does nothing but keep the fur looking its best before, during and after the race I dont think the dirt will be a problem.............. OK GBG you dare to call my choice of fur GAY, a lot you know about simulated Gorilla fur there Missy......... You will be punished for this heinous out burst, fortunately you will probably love it! ........ OK the white with red is officially out, straight white it is and GBG do NOT consider this any type of victory what so ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okkkkk,,, let's rehash....Hulk called it GAY first. I was only there to agree. And B I think the simulated Gorilla fur is kind of an Homage to our Turn 10 racing group with winning driver N.E. Monkey Wildeoux. See Turn 10 racing on the forum for more information.....
