Anyone going on 6 June? Need a race hit. It's only 2 hrs from my house & if the weather is good, thought I'd run up for the day. It's either that or the local dirt track. Which come to think about it might be better. Whatever.

the obvious answer is the local dirt track.
better technology, better cars, tighter competition, more variety of engines, tires etc.
cold draft beer just a short walk from you grandstand seat, boiled peanuts...

you know you don't really want to spend a weekend watching proto-turtles

At our dirt track, considering we're basic "mountain folk" up here, it's bring in your own cooler, food, drugs & scuba gear if you sit on the outside of turn 4. At least one fist fight in the pits & one in the stands guaranteed. 3/8 mile, wooden seats or lawn chairs up the side of a hill. Dirt in your beer. No scoreboard but nobody cares. Truckstop grease @ 2:00 AM on the way home after it's over. It's all good.

Pretty standard night at a dirt track....you should go scott..it can actually be kinda fun.
