Why dont you guy's set up a corner for us, photogs, scribes and general ass-kissers who try and make a living out of the lean ground of Sportscar racing?? We have a few different insights into the action, some of which we can share with you, assuming that utter secrecy is not demanded by the drivers or team owners, and trust me, you wont believe some of the waffle we hear!!!! I hear that we have been banned to the Black Hole under the grandstand. Only scribes and team PR honchos will be able to use the media center upstairs this year.  Now I will feel like Chris Elliot's character from the old Late Night with David Letterman shows: The Guy who lives under the stairs. Now if I could just look like that manly stud, my 2004 Sebring experience would be complete...I think that once we see where they are stuffing us, the peasants will be truly revolting! 8O  8O  8O  8O

Sorry, that was what we call the concrete monolithic buildings at tracks in the UK.  I just got a call from John Brooks, and he says that most of us will be stowage in the hole down below. Makes me feel like Sean Patrick O'Bugger-it
on the Titanic. Stuck below decks. Well, I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!!
So in reality I will arrive EARLY Monday morning and weazle a deal to stay UPSTAIRS in the daylight. Palms may be greased, so those of you with a delicate disposition, look away!!!!!!!!!!! Cool

From Ken: We built a new media room for photographers with internet access on the ground floor. 16 DSL hookups and 6 phone lines.   Writers and PR people use the 2nd floor.

I wonder if I should grab a hub and donate it, just in case they only have 16 connections Smiley

Thanks, Ken. I'm sure that the 120 or so Photogs will all fit in nice and snug. As for greasing the palms, you do it your way, and I'll do it my way!! My way is far less messy AND it only involves cash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You would probably get a private suite with your technique!!!!!!!!!!!!!
