Stop the NASCARization of road racing!

Seriously, I get like 10 emails a day on my phone about the new members. What site is it? And are the mods deleting the accounts? How can we put a stop to it? I say we do the word recognition thing to try and stop it.

Dunno what the problem is, apparently we've become more apparent for whatever reason. Querying various databases, the majority seem to be coming from the Ukraine, Russia, Lithuania and Saudi Arabia. I'll PM my actions to all moderators, don't want to post them publicly.
The problem is, how do we tell true spammers from someone that's just made up an off-the-wall name for themselves? We don't want to ban or delete accounts for true members.
For all SF.com members, trust me that we're all working diligently to keep the spammers out and eliminate the unwanted posts. If you do see anything questionable, please don't hesitate to click on the 'Report to Moderator' link below the post to let us know if something has slipped through.
