Well, since it doesn't seem to have appeared here yet...

And damn it, Lime Rock is two weeks late! (only a two day event in that case). They gotta be dodging attendance losses to Watkins Glen...
Otherwise, pretty... same-ish.

Unfair. Unbalanced. Unmedicated.

Granted this was only my second year, but attendance losses?  MT, LRP was absolutely packed this year!  Unless you're talking about the Saturday 'day-trippers' ... from my perspective the camping area was full Friday night.

No, I agree-attendance was the best of the decade. However, this year the event was a week after Independence Day Weekend (which WGI changed the IRL and Grand-Am date to); next year it'll be two weeks after. I didn't hear many of the peopole at this year's race saying they were at the Glen the week before, but I think ALMS may not want to have that conflicting date. The other possibility is that they want to give teams more time after Le Mans, which I guess is understandable given the close calls with Petersen/White Lightning in 2005 and 2006, and Champion in '05. But still, these cars really deserve a four (er, three) day event!
