First I would suggest maybe changing your deodorant.There is maybe something there.I dont know.
We have a pretty big group that camps in turn 3.There is usually plenty of room on Wed.I myself am probably not getting there til early Thurs.
 Have your Weds.arrival get there a little earlier,and nab a spot there for yourselves.

It wasn't the deodorant, it's the cornholing that scared me.

We're getting in Thursday night and are just going to play it by ear.  I've been happy with the spot by the tunnel at turn 10; it seems to be the last area to fill up, with plenty of  room on Friday.

You've only got to spend 5 minutes on sebringfans.com to realize that, while many of them may be knowledgeable fans, this race is mostly a drinking binge with some noisy cars in the background.
The focus (on that site) on alcohol consumption is really kind of depressing. I'm kind of amazed (and disappointed) that track management doesn't do anything to try and go a bit more upmarket.
If I wanted to hang with drunken louts I'd go to a British premier league game.

You folks that are going, please have fun for me. After reviewing my schedule and bank accounts it looks like I'll have to miss Petit, dammit.  I'll have to make up for it at Sebring and hope for Petit next year.

I thought I had it sorted too, even though it was only going to be a short trip (out on Thursday back on Sunday) but flights for the Thursday are fully booked which would mean taking an extra days holiday to fly on the Wednesday and I don't have any extra days left. As it happens, I now need to work on the Saturday too!

Next Year!!!!!!!!!!!
