It could be a font size thing for you or maybe a bad font. I am sure nobody noticed but we moved servers again. This time it totally fucked up the SMF template. I was forced to either rebuild the old one or switch. Obviously, I switched  I am not sold on the all black, but hey it saved me a couple of hours. I might change it again. I believe in your persona preferences, you can select which template you wish to see. Right now this is the user default. I really need to install a couple more for you guys. Now maybe I will get to the front page CMS some day. Any idea what you guys want from the front? I was thinking of making it a "onion" type of thing real, fake, and "bent" stories that will make you laugh. |

You've only got to spend 5 minutes on sebringfans.com to realize that, while many of them may be knowledgeable fans, this race is mostly a drinking binge with some noisy cars in the background.
The focus (on that site) on alcohol consumption is really kind of depressing. I'm kind of amazed (and disappointed) that track management doesn't do anything to try and go a bit more upmarket.
If I wanted to hang with drunken louts I'd go to a British premier league game.

It would be nice to have some options for the appearance, we'll all have different preferences. Also, would there be any 'rules' placed on the front page stories? Otherwise things would probably get real extreme real fast when some of the more perverted imaginations around here got cranked up... Also, would require a bit of work from quite a few people for the fake & 'bent' stories to keep things, as you say. fresh. |
